Before I got my job, people always saw me as someone who had no idea of what I wanted to do with my life and hence I was treated as such… When important things had to be discussed, I was considered an invalid at every table, like I had no good or reasonable thing to contribute to any table.

That hurt, so I became desperate to find a job and though I was desperate, I never did beyond GOD’s will for me, because I have always trusted HIM even above my plans and stuff. So I waited and eventually my job came(which I am super grateful for, of course)… Then people’s perspective of me started changing, they started listening to me, they became more interested in a discussion with me…

Now would you look at that Switch, Haha!

What they didn’t know is that their actions hurt, I was Basically stigmatized and isolated like I had COVID-19,(that’s quite a way to put it, Haha), and most of these people are those I consider Family,( not blood related), and their opinion meant a lot to me… Trust me, if I hadn’t DEFINED myself to myself, I would have been extremely traumatized from the whole situation and the DEFINITION of Me gave me strength to scale through those times… Countless times, I had to tell myself that I was(and still AM)so much more than how I was seen and I knew the day would come, when everyone would see that, So I waited!

Now, my point here is, YOU know who YOU are, YOU Know what YOU are Capable of, YOU know exactly what is inside of YOU and the best part is, YOU grow and get better everyday… These are the things that Define you and what you stand for, not the perspective of the people around you… Nobody can know and see things the exact way you see them until They are YOU, so they’ll only react based on their mentality of life…

If you don’t remember everything I have said so far, try to remember this… ” Your Self-Confidence is embedded in your Definition of YOU!”

So My Dear Reader, DEFINE YOURSELF, By your Values, Your Morals, Your Vision, Your Intentions and not by the things which are seen.

I hope you have been able to learn a thing or two from this part of My Life’s Chronicles, and I hope your perspective changes…
