DEPRESSION

This is has got to be one topic that has stirred up questions in the mind of a lot of people. Most of us hear someone saying they’re depressed and the next thing we assume is they are sick or abnormal.
So what inspired me to finally write about this topic is a moment of meditation I had yesterday. During this meditation, it occurred to me that negative feelings carry a lot of weight and positive feelings bear less weight, and I realized that if the human mind is being hit by a couple of negative feelings at once, the weight becomes much and it PRESSES down(DEPRESSES) the mind to a state where it becomes suffocated or overwhelmed and cannot carry out activities like it ought to.
And the truth is that we all have experienced this feeling of depression at one point or another. We have all felt fear, doubt, frustration and other negative emotions, sometimes all at once and that does weigh a lot, you’ll agree.

So we’ve all felt it!
Now one thing that occured to me is that staying positive always reduces the tendency of feeling depressed!
Also, identifying the feeling and dealing with the weight one after the other like you’re sorting through laundry also helps deal with it.
It sounds clichè but it’s core to avoiding depression!
