EXPECTATIONS

So I’ve always been this person with a big heart(not bragging... My heart is actually annoyingly big... It’s too accommodating), And I usually fall in love with people who won’t give a second thought about me. So I end up feeling hurt most of the time, just because I’m always expecting them to love me back, even if it’s just a tiny bit of love.

Now people always told me, not to expect anything from anyone, because humans are bound to disappoint. That’s true. But, It’s hard not to have expectations, Deny it till Eternity, there’d always be a tiny part of you that will always expect what you give out, especially when it’s feelings. Let’s face it, IF I DIDN’T EXPECT YOU TO LOVE ME, I WOULD NOT LOVE YOU IN THE FIRST PLACE(just my perspective).

Here’s another one, “IF YOU DIDN’T EXPECT A LOT FROM LIFE, YOU WOULD NOT FIGHT EVERYDAY TO SURVIVE”.

So for everything in this life, there would always be expectations.

This is where Open-mindedness comes in. So based on this revelation, I’d rephrase the above statement that people always told me, “ you can expect from people, but always know the picture of the worst and be prepared to face it. Humans are bound to disappoint.”

While harboring expectations, don’t let your guard down so you can brace yourself for the worst!

P.S: I hope these words really helps someone. This is just my perspective and I strongly believe it’s a fact that a lot of people haven’t realized yet.
