Hi guys, T.G.I.F!
So today we’ll be talking about IMPACT. And today’s post is inspired by my Team(We’re a N.G.O), “THE IMPACT TEAM AFRICA(TITA)”. Here’s how:
October 1st happens to be Nigeria’s Independence Day Celebration, which was yesterday and in my Team, where we’re all about making Impact, we organized an event which we called “Street Impact”, and the mission was to take Impact to the Streets of Lagos, Nigeria in commemoration of the Independence Day Celebration. The mission was a success and of course, “everything has to go on the Gram.(haha)”. So I did a Live video on Instagram while we were on the Street which I saved as an IGTV post on my page. So later yesterday evening, someone commented on the post and he said(and I quote), “Òdè, how much impact give u”, meaning “Fool, how much did impact give you”. Initially, when I saw the comment, I felt embarrassed but then I thought again and said to myself, “If only he knew”. So my intention was to reply later with, “Impact has given me more than you can ever imagine”.
Now that response is what birthed today’s topic.
I realized that a lot of people don’t actually understand the power in “Making an Impact “.
I don’t even know what people see it as. But whatever notion people have about the word “Impact”, I’d like to give mine...
According to the dictionary, Impact means having an effect on someone or something. Now looking at it from an angle of socialization, I’d say, Impact is doing things that leave a mark on someone or something and it could be a positive or negative impact based on your actions. And there’s no way you leave a mark on someone(living thing with memories, Lol), that the person doesn’t remember it. So imagine if it’s a positive impact you had on this person, you’ll always be remembered by the person, and if the opportunity comes for the person to help, he or she won’t hesitate. So based on all I’ve said now, I’d like to answer the guy properly... “Impact has given me opportunities. Impact has opened doors for me. Impact has led me to meet people of influence. Impact has removed me from the backstage and has put me in the spotlight. And most importantly, Impact has exposed me to amazing ways to get rich.” That is what Impact making has given me and so much more.
So guys, Please I implore you, don’t underrate the Impact of Impact making(haha). It will take you places. If you need proof, Go search for My Team’s C.E.O, Ogunlola Babatunde Michael A.K.A Mr Impact, you’ll see that Impact is no joke. So please as you go about your daily activity, make it a plan to Impact someone positively.

P.S: I’d like to celebrate every member of The Impact Team Africa(TITA). This post is dedicated to you all.
And to everyone, I celebrate you all as well.
And if you’d like to see all we did yesterday, just go follow @impactinternationaltv on Instagram.
Happy New Month guys.
Till I come your way again next week Friday,
Much Love
