The Playlist

Hi guys.

I’d like to share a funny but completely helpful tip that keeps me going.

I am huge lover of music. No! I am obsessed with music. Music has always been my best friend, definitely my “ride-or-die”. So I have this habit of creating different playlists for my different moods(and trust me, there are lots of moods). I’ve got my “Workout” playlist; my “Turn-up” playlist; my “Nostalgia” playlist and so much more(P.S: the way I mentioned them here is exactly the way I named them on my music player... funny right)... But there is one particular playlist which is my most important playlist. I call it “GOALS”. Now this playlist consists of songs that remind me of my goals. These songs put me in a state of reverie about my dreams. I created this playlist because I know, that there would be tons of times when I’ll get tired of fighting for the lifestyle of my dreams, moments when I just want to throw in the towel, moments when I’ve cried my eyes out, moments when I’m utterly lost and confused... This playlist is what kicks me back to my feet, reminding me of WHERE I want to be and WHO I want to be. I hear the songs on this playlist and the picture of my future all comes rushing back to my mind and I pick myself up again telling myself, “I haven’t come this far to give up. NOT TODAY! NOT EVER!”. Although there are so many other things that remind me of my goals but the most handy and striking one is my playlist.

Now, my point is, we all should have something handy and striking that reminds us of WHERE and WHO we want to be. Something that resonates deep into our souls and keeps us fighting. Something that would always refuel our energy. It could be a picture, a painting, a view, or just like mine, IT COULD BE A PLAYLIST!

P.S: I hope today’s edition struck a chord in you, and I hope it’s a “landmark” you all would never forget, because it’s an important one and it’s a lifesaver.
