Hi guys, So I just saw a movie some days ago, title is “Girls Trip” and I learnt a lesson that I didn’t really pick on the first time I watched it(not my first time of watching it, just felt like seeing it again). In this movie, The protagonist who was a Well known Public Figure believed that she was powerful, because she was able to cover all the cracked surfaces in her life and appear perfect to the public. She seemed to “have it all” , but deep down, she knew she was living a lie. Her life was far from perfect especially her marriage, but the sham of a marriage that appeared perfect was what the public loved most about her. Eventually the secret got out that her marriage wasn’t what it appeared to be. Even after her dirty linen was aired out, she and her management still tried to curb the damage by denying every allegation against her marriage, mostly to protect her career, until she was standing in front of over a thousand people and at the sight of her friends from college, she recalled what it felt like to be free, and she confirmed the rumors and turned the table!
The fear of losing someone or something has made a lot of people create and maintain a facade of perfection. And the world today considers perfection as the Ultimate Power, and I beg to differ. I believe that the Ultimate Power lies in truth whether the truth is perfect or imperfect. I mean there’s a popular statement, “ The world has got nothing on you”. Now I’d like to add to that statement, “ The world has got nothing on someone who is sticks to their truth no matter how embarrassing it may seem”. THAT! Is where the real POWER is.

P.S: I hope these words resonate deep inside you and helps you reposition your mindset about your lifestyle, if there’s any point you aren’t being True. Please endeavor to share as well, Thousands of people need this and I’m not saying I’m knowledgeable, these words are only birthed from observations and feelings.
